Our adventure on Rapa Nui, the original name for Easter Island, continues. After almost a week, we had aunts in our pants to see our friend Nicolas again.

After dinner, we were finally ready to leave our cabana. Then we suddenly pricked up our ears when we heard drums beating on the roof. A heavy tropical rain poured down on our cabana, making the 20-minute walk to the bar impossible. We wondered on and off in our cabana for half an hour, waiting for this apocalyptic rain to stop.
When we finally made it to Hani Hani, Nicolas and his two friends were already in tipsy conversations. Stefano and I ordered two passion fruit beer. And again, we reached the late night before our early-morning activity next day. You can read what we organized for the next days here. For some reason, a day is generally never long enough for us!
